What age can children start at?
At Farmhill children can start once they have had their fourth birthday.
I'm an adult in my 30's/40's/50's/60's/70's+ , can I learn?
Yes! Learning new things keeps us young! At Farmhill it doesn’t matter what age, we have something to suit everyone! Our instructors are very patient and won’t make you do anything you don’t want to
I'm a bit scared! Will I be ok?
Yes – all beginners are led to begin with, and beginners almost never fall off (touch wood – we haven’t had any yet). Our horses and ponies are all very quiet and used to teaching beginners, and our instructors are very patient and won’t make you do anything you don’t want to.
I used to ride when I was young - can I start again?
Yes – we have several ‘returning’ riders who rode when they were children. Some confident and some nervous, but they all have fun!
